Cozy Your Backyard for Fall
Sep 08, 2021Gather around the campfire, friends... or fire pit. However you like to cozy up, I think we can all agree that there’s nothing like ending a fall-ish day with a bit of warmth.
There’s plenty of versatile and stylish options for those colder days. On the basic level, there are two ways to achieve a fire-like ambience: propane gas and natural gas.
Grab that book you’ve been putting off, make some hot cocoa, and embrace the changing of the seasons! Some of our in-house favorites—below.
- Propane Gas Heaters: you may recognize these from your favorite upscale restaurant. Elegant, tall, and oh so warm, propane gas heaters tend to be freestanding and mounted into a patio cover. They work well as a statement piece.
- Natural Gas Fireplace: typically custom built, this is for those who want to emulate that ‘cabin in the woods’ feeling. The beauty of a natural gas fireplace is that there is so much potential for design, placement, and intention.
- Natural Gas Fire Pit: a natural gas fire pit begs for some camp chair [or nice couches] and talking story. These can be bought as is or custom built, with plenty of aesthetic options to match your backyard design.
- Propane Fire Pit: same, same but different. Propane tends to heat up quicker, but the end result is the same. It’s really a matter of personal preference. These fire pits tend to be pre-manufactured. Note that propane tanks require refills, while natural gas just requires a hookup/natural gas installation.
